Road markings save lives
At Geveko Markings, we consider road markings to be life savers - and a very important part of our raison d'être is to increase traffic safety in places where our products can make a real difference.
This is for example the case when our road markings are applied to control and separate traffic. By doing so, they create safe zones for unprotected road users such as pedestrians, cyclists, prams, and wheelchairs.
Another example is the way our tactile road markings guide the blind and visually impaired safely through traffic. By letting them know where to walk and when to proceed with caution, they get and increased sense of independence and life quality.
Finally, our products are also to a great extent designed with the aim of making traffic flow efficiently. This is a very important part of a functional infrastructure in a world that is constantly moving while focusing on minimising the environmental impact on the planet.
Our approach to a sustainable future
To enable a future with safer, more sustainable, and more efficient mobility, it is essential that we take on a holistic approach. Both when it comes to our business, our actions, and the impact we leave behind. At Geveko Markings, our approach must support growth as well as improvements in profits, environmental impact, social impact, and governance.
Only with a holistic approach that takes all these aspects into account, can we ensure that our business is sustainable so we can continue “Marking the future with you”.
Quality ISO 9001
Our focus on quality is exemplified by the fact that our sales organisation and production plants are ISO 9001 certified. This is a standard for satisfying quality needs and increasing customer satisfaction.
Environment ISO 14001
We are also committed to reducing the impact of our activities on the environment. Therefore, we want to manage our environmental performance in a systematic manner that contributes to a sustainable way of doing business.
As a natural step in this direction, we are certified in accordance with ISO 14001 – the world’s most recognised environmental management system.
